This is a customers Kohler 8kw gen set, keep burning up the motor control board. Each new board would only last 12 minutes of run time. Unit did not blow any fuses. I called many kohler dealers, and none of them could help or they just did not want to help. So a friend of mine told me about these after market motor controllers. What a great idea. After a little work, installed it and it works great. The green light comes on during pre start, and also functions as a trouble code light.
